When you book a treatment through our portal or via our team, you are entering into a contract with us for the provision of that treatment. Bookings are confirmed once:
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we believe the treatment would not be safe or appropriate for you based on your medical history, consultation, or practitioner assessment.
All treatments require clients to be aged 18 or over. By booking a treatment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We may request proof of age at any time. In accordance with the Botulinum Toxin and Cosmetic Fillers (Children) Act 2021, we will not administer botulinum toxin or cosmetic fillers to anyone under 18.
Certain treatments require a consultation before your first session. This is a clinical requirement and cannot be waived — we may need to assess your skin, medical history, or suitability before proceeding.
You must complete a medical history form before your first treatment. This information is essential for your safety. You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical information.
You must inform us immediately of any changes to your medical history, medications, or health status before subsequent treatments. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect your treatment outcomes and safety.
Treatment consent must be signed before each appointment. Digital signatures are legally binding under UK law.
Client cancellations:
Clinic cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment. Any prepayment will be fully refunded if you prefer not to reschedule.
Cooling-off period: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a booking made online within 14 days of making it, provided the treatment has not yet been carried out. If your appointment is within 14 days of booking, you will be asked to expressly consent to the treatment taking place before the cooling-off period ends; after that consent, our normal cancellation policy above applies. All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are as displayed on our portal at the time of booking.
We accept payment by card (in-clinic or online via Stripe), bank transfer, or cash. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless a different arrangement has been agreed (e.g., course prepayment, 7-day advance payment).
Course packages: sessions are non-transferable between clients. Unused sessions may have expiry dates. Refunds for partially used courses are at our discretion and will be calculated at the single-session rate for sessions already used.
Deposits are refundable in full when you cancel your appointment at any time before it takes place. No-shows (failure to attend without notice) forfeit the deposit.
Treatment refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are dissatisfied with a treatment, please contact us within 7 days. We are committed to resolving concerns fairly.
Refunds for online payments are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
All aesthetic and laser treatments carry inherent risks. These will be explained to you during your consultation and before each treatment via the consent form. Common risks include temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, and skin irritation.
Results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. We will provide realistic expectations during your consultation.
By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the risks and potential outcomes, and that you consent to the treatment being carried out.
We may take photographs during treatment for your clinical records. These photographs are stored securely and form part of your treatment record.
Photographs will not be used for marketing, social media, or any public purpose without your separate, explicit written consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your clinical records.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login link with others.
You may delete your account at any time through the portal. Account deletion will remove your personal data except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g., treatment records for 10 years, payment records for 7 years).
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Vouchers are non-refundable once purchased. Vouchers may be used towards any treatment but cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance after partial redemption stays on the voucher until expiry.
If you have a complaint about your treatment or experience, please contact us at info@laserskinclinics.co.uk or call 01902 256667. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 working days.
If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant regulatory body or seek independent mediation.
We carry appropriate professional indemnity insurance for all treatments we provide. Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided, except in cases of negligence or where limitation is prohibited by law.
We are not liable for adverse outcomes where you have failed to disclose relevant medical information, have not followed pre-treatment or aftercare instructions, or where the outcome is within the range of normal treatment variation.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through the portal. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
